James Rogers "Sonny" Sessions, Jr. passed away the morning of November 20, 2010 in his home at Kirvin, Texas. According to his wishes, a graveside service was held at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin that same day. The service was officiated by Pastor Jay Fraze of Wortham. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jim and Thelma Sessions; sisters, Carolyn Kirgan, Leah Eubank, and Sarah Younger. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Isaacks Sessions; sons, Hammond and wife Karla, James and wife Lori, Ken and wife Tina; and 18 grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Kenneth B. Sessions; and several nieces and nephews.
