Carrie S. Gray, 98, of Roanoke and Blue Ridge, Va. died on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gray; and a son, Virgil Gray. Surviving are her granddaughters, Pamela Amos and husband, Michael, and Cynthia Howell and husband, Chuck; greatgrandchildren, Whitney Amos and Hunter Amos; sister, Colene; nieces, Dorothy (Dot) and Catherine; sister-in-law, Ruth; and special faithful friend and neighbor, Gaynell. It was Carries request that in lieu of flowers that potential donors help a friend or relative in her honor. A private graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, March 25, 2010.
