Mrs. Alice Boal, 89, of 72 East Main street, South Zanesville, died Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James Maddox. She had been ill for three months.
She leaves Mrs. Maddox; a son, O. L. Boal of 1817 Maple avenue; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Mrs. Boal was born in Hocking county, but had lived in this vicinity for 50 years. The daughter of Ersal and Susanna Weller Souders, she was a member of the South Zanesville Methodist church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Dean-Swope funeral home, Rev. W. A. Haupt, pastor of the South Zanesville Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home.
