Funeral services for Henry "Pete" Barton Watson, 87, of Bryan, formerly of Normangee will be conducted Thursday, March 26, 2009 at First United Pentecostal Church, Normangee at 10:00 am. Bro. Sam Manning of FUPC will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm at Cozart Funeral Chapel, 220 Heath Normangee. Interment will be in Plainview Cemetery, Madison Co.
Pete was born in Bryan on November 03, 1921 to Joe Henry and Josie Bell Preslar Watson and passed from this life March 22, 2009. Pete was a Master plumber and owned his own company .
Pete was preceded in death by his wife Violet Blagrave Watson, parents, adopted brother Jesse and adopted sister Lola. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Paul and Nancy Watson of Bryan and his daughter and son-in-law Shelia and Jerry "Shot" Smith of Normangee, also, three grandchildren Daryl & wife Sandra Smith Tucson, Arizona Daniel Paul Watson of Houston and Rebecca Watson of Bryan. He has five great grandchildren.
