Evelyn Bailey, 74, Bailey Road, Eau Claire, died Monday, Oct. 31, at her home.
She was born July 2, 1914, in Oswego County, N.Y. She married G.P. Bailey June 17, 1944, in Niles. He survives.
Bailey was a retired employee of Simplicity Pattern Co. in Niles, where she worked for 42 years.
Survivors also include a son, Kevin of Eau Claire; a daughter, Dianne (Bailey) Alton of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Eleanor Haslanger and Dorothy Jones of Niles; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Sodus. Visitation will not be offered. Bowerman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Memorials may be given to her church or the Berrien County Cancer Service.

EAU CLAIRE - Mrs. George P. (Evelyn P.) Bailey, 74, of Bailey Road, Eau Claire, died around 7:30 p.m. Monday at her home.
The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Sodus, of which she was a member. Memorials may be made to the church or the Berrien County Cancer Service. Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bailey was born July 2, 1914, in Oswego County, N.Y. Prior to retiring, she had been employed by Simplicity Pattern Co., Niles, for 32 years.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: a son, Kevin P. of Eau Claire; a daughter, Dianne Bailey Alton of Ann Arbor; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters - Mrs. Clarence (Eleanor) Haslanger and Mrs. George (Dorothy) Jones, both of Niles.
