GLADE SPRING, Va.

Brian Dean Arnold, age 34, a well known resident of Washington County, Va., passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1975,
in Washington County, Va.,
and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Brian was a former fireman for the Clinch Mountain Fire Dept. He was an EMT and
was employed as a Nursing Assistant for
Home Nursing Service.

Brian was a very passionate and caring, husband, father, son, grandson and friend.
He was an avid farmer and hunter. He was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Chilhowie, Va.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hugh "Doc" Arnold.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Arnold; two sons, Calvin Dean and Isaiah Jacob; one daughter, Lydia Alene; his mother, Loretta Botts Bumgarner and husband, Boyce of Abingdon, Va.; his father, Bobby Dean Arnold and wife, Kay of Damascus, Va.; one brother, Brad DeWayne Arnold of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one sister, Kayla Dawn Bumgarner; grandparents, Sanford K. Botts and Dorothy M. Botts of Abingdon, Va., and Ethel Arnold of Washington County, Va.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Joan Nutter of Bristol Tennessee; one sister, Tonya Buchanan and her daughter, Kayla Vukodinovich; one niece; numerous cousins including Johanna and Jason Arnold.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010, at the Providence Presbyterian Church in Chilhowie, Va. Rev. Hank Belfield and Rev. Matthew Figura will officiate.

Interment will follow at Mount Rose
Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va.

Active pallbearers will be Jake Starbuck, Dr. Andrew Brockmyre, Dr. Todd Muncy, Frank Cardinale, Pat McCune and a very special friend, Lex Robinson. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Arnold. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at the Frost Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations
may be made to Sarah Arnold,
8116 Buchanan Road, Glade Spring, VA 24340, to establish a trust fund for his children.
