Tristram M. Bolton was the son of Walter S. Bolton of Augusta, Maine and wife Harriet Smart of Vassalboro, Maine. On Dec. 25, 1854, he married Elcy C. (nee Ward) Dresser in Bangor, Maine. They had one child, Walter S., born 1856. Per the Bangor city directory, Tristram was a millwright. He died Sept. 22, 1859 in St. Anthony, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He is interred in Lot 77 with his parents and his siblings Sumner Bolton and Mary Bolton.
