In Memoriam.
On the early morning of March 1st, the angel of death entered the home of Stafford W. Ramsey and carried away the spirit of our dear mother, Melinda Green Ramsey, aged 74 years.
She was the daughter of the late Clayton G. Stone and Olive Prillaman.
She leaves two children to mourn her loss: Stafford W. Ramsey and Myrtle Lovell; six grandchildren: Helen, Stuart and Mabel Ramsey, Merrill, Marvin, and John Roy Lovell. One brother and six sisters also survive: Mr. D. H. Stone, Mrs. Mary Jane Franklin, Mrs. Betty Shumate and Mrs. Savannah Davis, all of Bassett, Mrs. Eliza Stone of Montvale and Mrs. Roxie and Ida Ramsey of Sydnorsville. Burial was made in the family cemetery at her home by the side of her husband who passed into the great beyond nearly forty years ago.
She was a member of the M. E. Church. Written by her broken-hearted daughter, Myrtle.
