Hazel Kathleen Archibald Wilkinson, age 85, of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2002.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Alvin Swain officiating. Burial followed in Faulkenberry Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilkinson was born November 18, 1916 at Box Church to Albert Dave and Laura (Rasco) Archibald. She married James Alvie Wilkinson in Groesbeck on June 18, 1932. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Wilkinson is survived by her son, Jerry Dee Wilkinson of Canyon Lake, CA; three daughters, Nelta Dayton of Waxahachie, Patsy Littrell of Haughton, LA, Francine Sonnier of Corpus Christi, eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister Doris Ivins of Trinity, Texas; one brother Dave Archibald, Jr. of Houston.
Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Pallbearers were grandsons, James Paul Littrell, Mitchell Wilkinson, Chip Wilkinson, Robert Lee Dayton, Brian Sonnier, Wesley Sonnier. Honorary pallbearers were great-grandsons, Andrew Littrell, John Martin, Ashford McQueen.
