Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Young's Funeral Home for John Schreiber, 69, of Ferriday, who died May 8, at his residence. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Natchez. Schrieber was born Nov. 10, 1916, in Thomasville, Ga. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ferriday. He was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary Schrieber of Ferriday; one son, John Schrieber III of Houston; two daughters, Susan Walker of Knoxville, Tenn, and Mollie Allen of Downsville, La., four grandchildren; and several other relatives. Young's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
