Jean Ann Butler Haver, 80, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Newnan. Mrs. Haver will lie in state Friday at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with local arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born March 9, 1933 in Columbia, TN, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Owen Butler, Sr. and Dorothy Morgan Butler. She was a 1952 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a Kiwanis member having served as Past President and Secretary- Treasurer of the Ladies Kiwanis of Coweta. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newnan and was a member of the Martha Fuller class as well as the Martha Circle.

Survivors include her husband Bob Haver of Newnan, Georgia; son, Keith Gilliam of Villa Rica, Georgia; brother, Dr. Charles Morgan Butler of Jewell, Mississippi; sister, Beverly Butler Edwards (Dick) of Fairburn, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Lt. Thomas Owen Butler, Jr., Robert Collier Butler; sister, Frances (Fran) Butler Browning.
