April 19, 1986 - Kossuth County advance - Mrs. Mollie Foth of Livermore, 94, died of cardiovascular failure Tuesday, Apr. 15, in the Humboldt South Care Center. Funeral Mass for Mrs. Foth is at 10:30 a.m. today (Saturday) in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Livermore, the Rev. G.R. Wingert celebrant. Burial is in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wilson's of Livermore in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers are grandsons; Randy Foth, Dennis Foth, Brad Foth, Jerry Crahan, Jon Thul, and Bruce Foth.

Mollie was a daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Sutter Elsbecker. She was born at Dyersville, Ia. Nov. 1, 1891 and the family moved to Bancroft in 1897. She attended school there and worked at home for a time before she was married to George Foth at Bancroft Jan. 19, 1916.

Mr. and Mrs. Foth farmed near Bancroft until 1941 when they moved to farm near Livermore. The Foths retired from farming in 1956 and moved into Livermore. Mr. Foth died in 1964 and she continued to live in her own home until becoming a resident of the South Care Center at Humboldt when she was 90.

Mrs. Foth is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters; Allan and Richard, both of Livermore; Betty, Mrs. Richard Thul, Bode and Mrs. Marjorie Meighan, Vale, Ia. There are 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 47 great-great-grandchildren. Two sisters also survive; Olga, Mrs. LeRoy Reinart, Glidden and Calista, Mrs. Ray Wolf of Bancroft.

Mrs. Foth was an active member of Sacred Heart Church and Guild, the Friends and Neighbors Club, American legion Auxiliary, Equality Club and 500 Club.

A son and daughter, Gordon and Ella Mae, 4 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Albert, Leo and Arthur and a sister, Ella, are deceased.
