COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Walter Anderson, 78, of Cookeville will be held Sat., April 13, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Anderson died Thrus. April 11, 1996, in Masters Health Care Center.

He was born in Putnam County to the late Monroe and Mary Jane Montgomery Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a carpenter with Local Union #60 in Indianapolis, IN.

His family includes his wife, Delpha Anderson of Cookeville; one step-daughter, Betty Utterback of GA; two sisters, Velma Leftwich of Baxter, and Katherine Cole of Algood; and two stepgrandsons, Brian and Billy Utterback.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Anderson; and two sisters, Mae Lewis and Ollie Cole.

The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, April 12, at the funeral home.

Rev. Troy Withers will officiate at the services.
