William Baker Bowman, 62, of Jonesville, died Wednesday, December 21, in a Harlan, KY hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Bowman was a member of Fleenor Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Bowman, Jonesville; a son, William Bowman, Jr., Jonesville; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Kesser, Jonesville and Mrs. Wilma Bowman, Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, Harrison and Alex Bowman, both of Jonesville and Ernest Bowman, Appalachia, VA; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Spivey, Jonesville; Eva Hobbs, Mendota, VA; and Mrs. Mattie Wells, Big Stone Gap, VA.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, December 23 at Davidson Funeral Home Cahpel in Jonesville, with the Revs. A. M. Alder and James Powell officiating. Burial was in Lee Memorial Park at Woodway.
