Laurens County Hospital.
A native of Laurens, she was a daughter of the late George Hastings and Lillie Mae McKee Stewart. She was
a graduate of the 1943 class at Ford High School in Laurens and a member of Laurens Second Baptist Church
where she was a pre-school Sunday School Teacher, secretary of Discipleship Training, a member of the
handbell choir, and the church secretary for nearly 30 years.
Surviving are a son, Eddie West of Laurens; a daughter, Gwen W. Adair of Greenwood; and six
grandchildren, Kim Adair, Dawn Adair, Kristi Adair, Andy West, Emily West and Tommy West.
Services were conducted Sunday at Laurens Second Baptist Church with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
