John S. Knepper, 88, of Waterfall died Thursday morning, in the County Medical Center at McConnellsburg. He was born in Taylor Township, Fulton County on July 18, 1884, a son of Aaron and Jennie (Landers) Knepper, he was united in marriage to Ruth Strait, who survives.

There are three sons and a daughter surviving; Brinton Knepper, St Thomas; Harry B. Knepper , Waterfall; Herbert Knepper, Johnson, Vt.; Mrs. Elva Lane, Hustontown. There are ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The deceased was of the protestant faith.

He was engaged in farming through his lifetime.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, at 10:30 a.m. from the Kelso Funeral Home, McConnellsburg. The Rev. Leanord Wright and the Rev. Roger Markey will officiate. Interment will be made in the Center Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o;clock this evening.
