Growing up, I found him very easy to talk to. And being a very intelligent man, I enjoyed engaging him on the issues of the day. He was very talented musically and was choir director for several churches for many years. I enjoyed and now miss his goofy sense of humor.
He was a good provider and devoted his life to his wife Caroline (later divorced) and their two children, Lorelei and Eric. Uncle Marvin developed Alzheimer's disease in his late 50s and died at age 64 from the ravages of the disease. He died so early. It was very heartbreaking.
Many thanks to Deborah RN for her kind sponsorship of my Uncle Marvin's memorial page. I am truly honored and my heart has been touched.
