Sherril Ruth Adair Clegg returned to her Heavenly Home November 19, 2010. Born August 21, 1938, the only daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Adair, in New Harmony, Utah where she grew up. She met the love of her life Charles Marvin on a blind double date with her brother Lynn. They were married September 28, 1957 and started their life together. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple February 14, 1959. Throughout her life she was blessed with four sons Danny (Lea), Johnny (Laura), Ricky (Machelle), and Russell (Phelina). Her family was the most important thing in her life. She loved serving the Lord, growing flowers, collecting rocks and genealogy. She will be greatly missed by her survivors, her sweetheart Marv, her 4 sons, 23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and her brothers Lynn (Elvira), Gerry (Bonnie), Donell (Rhonda), Phillip and Roland (Sue). She was preceded in death by two grandsons Trenton and Kasey.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spring City Church (164 S Main). Viewings will be held Sunday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary in Mt. Pleasant (96 N 100 W). Interment in the New Harmony Cemetery. Online condolences available at
