Byron Craig Smith, 55, of Pilot Point passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Chaplain Sam Ed Spence officiating. Interment: Belew Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Pasadena to Eugene Author and Betty Todd Smith. He was a horse trainer at Buck & Barrels Ranch. Survivors: Sons, Shannon Smith of Aubrey and Todd Smith of Saginaw; daughter, Erika Smith of Dallas; grandchildren, Courtney Smith and Savannah Smith; and brothers, Mike Smith of Livingston, James Smith of Decatur and Ricky Smith of Midland.
Pallbearers were to be Roy Baldillez, C. Dwayne Gilbreath, Estaphan Fiscal, Mark Self, Mike Snowden and Mark Willett.
