On Jan. 1, 1874, Mr. Gottshall married Miss Matilda C. Wise, daughter of Fredrick and Maria Wise, of South Middleton township, and they have had one child, Franklin E., who was born in 1874, attended the schools of South Middleton township, and is now engaged in the photographing business at Harrisburg, though he continues to live in Boiling Springs, making the trip morning and evening.

Succumbs at Home in Boiling Boiling in Sixty-First Year

Mrs. Matilda C. Gutshall died at her home in Boiling Springs, this morning about one o'clock, aged sixty-one years. She is survived by her husband, Peter D. Gutshall (sic), one son, F.E. Gutshall (sic) of Harrisburg, one brother, Edward Wise of Boiling Springs and one sister, Mrs. James Beidel.

The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from her late home in Boiling Spring (sic). Interment in Churchtown Cemetery. Relatives and friends attend without further notice.

Mrs. Matilda Gutshall (sic), wife of Peter D. Gutshall, Boiling Springs, died at one thirty this morning of brain trouble aged 61 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church (sic) of Boiling Springs. She had been ill for some time past. Besides the husband she is survived by a son, Frank, a prominent photographer of Harrisburg, a sister, Mrs. James Speidle of Mt. Holly Springs, and a brother Edward Wise, of Boiling Springs. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at one thirty. Friends and relatives are invited to attend without further notice.
