George Williams,59, was the son of Clark Williams and Helen Dent. He was an attorney. He served as a Colonel from Alabama in the US Army, WWII, and Korea.

He and his wife, Daisy Dudley were separated, but not divorced. He died at his home in the country, between Seale and Phenix City, AL; and is buried on the Dudley property.

George Dent, while a Lt. Col. commanded the 124th Infantry during the end of WWII and brought the regiment home.
