He and his wife, Daisy Dudley were separated, but not divorced. He died at his home in the country, between Seale and Phenix City, AL; and is buried on the Dudley property.
George Dent, while a Lt. Col. commanded the 124th Infantry during the end of WWII and brought the regiment home.
