Phyliss Boldery
Phyliss Jewel Boldery, 67, of 394 School Hollow Road, Milton, Ky., died Wednesday,
April 27, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 27, 1937, in Bedford, Ky., the daughter of Dallas and Roberta
Colbert Simmons. She was a Pioneer of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca Tackett and Monie Boldery, both of Bedford,
and Shauna Thorne of Milton; five sons, Steve Boldery of Bedford, Mark Boldery of
Milton, Joseph Boldery of Deputy, and Timmy and Paul Boldery, both of Madison; her
mother, Roberta Colbert Simmons Marsh, of Bedford; one sister, Wilma Boyer of
Bedford; 20 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Luther "Bud" Boldery, in 1992;
and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's
Witnesses on Clifty Drive. The remains were cremated.
Burial will be at a later date in Moffett Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
The Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton is in charge of arrangements.
