"Oneida, July 12- At his home in Fitch street occured the death of John R. Hodge, age 64 years, after an illness covering over one year. Mr. Hodge had been a resident of the city for the past thirty years. He was a mason and farmer by occupation. Surviving are his widow [Katherine], two brothers, Emery of Oneida and William of Wampsville; three sisters, Mrs. Burt Allen of Fulton, Mrs. Leonard Helm of Canastota, and one sister [Mary Hodge Dawson] in Niagara Falls.
