Born in Raritan Township on Oct. 24, 1983 to Roy J. Kerr and Cathleen Irene (Herbert) Bush and lived in Frenchtown most of his life.
Mr. Kerr graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 2002, and was a district champion wrestler. He worked in construction, landscaping, roofing and masonry.
He was an avid fisherman, and was known to his friends as a kind and gentle man who was loved by many.
His mother and his maternal grandparents Stanley and Darla Herbert died earlier.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Earl J. and Donna Kerr of Alexandria Township; his best friend and companion, Erin Rogers of Frenchtown; two brothers, William Kerr of Mount Pleasant and Jerry "Buddy" Bush Jr. of Pohatcong Township; a sister, Angel Kerr, also of Pohatcong Township; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be tonight 6-9 p.m. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Holland Township. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home tomorrow at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Frenchtown Cemetery.
