HEATHER YEVETTE MURRAY, 29, poultry worker

Funeral for Heather Yevette Murray, 29, of Decatur will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wheeler Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Davis and the Rev. George Sawyer officiating.

Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will be in the church one hour before the service.

Ms. Murray died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, at her home. She was born March 27, 1968, in Decatur. She attended Westlawn Elementary School and Austin High School. She was employed by Wayne Farms poultry company and was a member of Wheeler Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Estella Murray of Decatur; one brother, Marvin Jamar Davis of Nashville; and two grandfathers, Ocar Fossett of Courtland and Roosevelt Taylor of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Andre Nash, Kenneth Morrow, Kenneth Sykes, Thomas Goode, Chris Jackson and Frederick Stegall.
