Jack Claude Fortson, 87, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010, at his residence.
He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and was an electrician for Duke Power Company.
Mr. Fortson is survived by his wife, Frances (Pitts) Fortson, sons, Phillip Douglas Fortson of Healdsburg, CA and Larry Dean Fortson of Steubenville, PA; daughters, Glenda F. Courtney of Cincinnati, OH and Jackie F. Lambert of Burlington, NC; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Steven and Savannah (Hall) Fortson, brothers, Bill, Doyle and Frank Fortson; sister, Malita Elizabeth (Fortson) Dove.
