CHRISTIAN THOMAS NOVAK, age 8, of Webster passed away on November 11, 2010 in Webster. Christian was born on January 3, 2002 in Webster to parents, Dana (Woodel) Novak and Daniel Novak. Christian was 8 years old. So loving and tender, he was always thoughtful of his siblings and was a very loving child to his whole family. He loved playing, riding his 4 wheeler, and giving rides. Christian loved to go hunting with his grandpa and uncles. He loved going places and doing fun things. Christian loved his friends from Alvin. He was very close to Dalton, and he loved his new friends from his apartments and new school. Christian loved his schools and teachers. Christian loved Star Wars and the Wii. Christian was very loving to babies. His dream was to be a firefighter. He loved riding horses and camping. The beach was a place he often visited with his Na Na and mommy. He loved to collect those shells. He loved going to the rec club with his daddy. Christian was the little man of the house; he was the protector of his home. His heart touched so many, and he was kind and honest. Christian loved telling people, "I bet you can't kiss me," and his Paw Paw would chase him down and fill him with kisses. The night before the tragedy he was happy, full of life, playing with his Lego Star Wars ship and making his Christmas list with his mommy, sister Kaitlyn, and brothers Nathaniel and Nicholas. Then he watched the Transformers movie. He loved his Daddy and Mommy very much and his whole family. You will always be everyone's little man. Sweet Dreams, my dear son. Good bye and Thank you for the memories, and you'll always be in our hearts. Christian was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert T. Endris and Clara Mae Endris, and Grandpa Zak; great-grandparents: David Kennedy Grandparent.

He is survived by his mother, Dana Novak of Houston; father, Daniel Novak of Manvel; grandparents: Gregory and Patricia Wilson of Alvin, Don and Thelma Wilson of Illinois, Anton and Pasty Novak of Manvel and Grandma Zak; brother: Nicholas Novak of Houston; aunts and uncles: Austin and Joy Kennedy of Alvin, Robert Kennedy of Alvin, Michael and Jamie Johnson of California, Stacy Nesrsta of Bay City, Kelly Wilson of Alvin, Anton and Melissa Novak of Manvel, William Novak of Manvel, James and Amanda Novak of Alvin, David and Deanna Wyckoff of Alvin, and Jack and Pauline Waters of Rosharon; as well as numerous cousins, stepuncles, stepaunts, other family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Magee officiating. Interment followed at Confederate Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Robert Kennedy, Austin Kennedy, Andy Cummings, Eric Shutts, Chase Lay, Eric Lay, Matt Salyer, Aaron Endris, Brian Endris, Anton R. Novak, William L. Novak, James C. Novak, Pete (Darrell) Ellison, Darrell Wyckoff, Joshua Ellison, and Derick Wyckoff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the name of Christian Novak to Shriner's Hospital. A fund has been set up for Dana Novak and children at First National Bank of Alvin. And as this tragedy occurred on Veteran's Day, the family wishes to honor the children's memory by encouraging donations to various veteran's organizations.

Arrangements under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home at Oak Park.Christian was a Beautiful Boy with a Great smile and beautiful eyes that just shinned on you. He loved his family very much. He loved Star Wars and riding his 4 wheeler and having birthday parties and Holiday parties. He loved Nathaniel very much and he loved to pick on his little brother Nicholas but loved him very much. He adored his mother. Christian liked Activies such as Boy Scouts. Christian was an upstanding child he believed in telling the truth and helping others. Christian loved his friends and teachers. He loved going places and the beach was one of our favorite places to go. He loved to Hunt with his Paw Paw and Uncles. Christian had a voice and he could sing. We use to think he could sing in a choir. He loved Animals and he loved small children. We use to think he was going to be a great dad oneday. He always played with the babies. Christian loved putting Star War Legos together with anyone that would help him. He had a great mind for puzzles. Christian would have offered alot to this world and were all sorry for the way he died. We miss him very much and the love we have for him will carry us until we meet him again oneday. We love you Sweetheart and we are so thankful God sent you to us and we had you in our lives while we did. We have lasting memories of you and your great heart and smile and thank you for loving us back while you were here. Mommie loves you and Paw Paw and Na Na and all your Uncles and aunts and cousins. You touched so many lives and you didn't even know it but you do now. Save a place for us because before you know it we will be there with you again. Love always, your family on earth.
