Rushville Republican October 17, 1923
John A. Yeates, two week-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Yeates living on the Albert Allen farm south of this city, died this morning at 8:30 o'clock. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home. Burial will be make in East Hill cemetery. The child is also survived by fourth sisters and two brothers.
