Billy L. Bourne, age 84 was born on August 15, 1935 in Trees City, LA to Dock Bourne and Susie Livingston Bourne and passed away on April 9,2020 at the Vivian Healthcare after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Bourne was a resident of Trees City, LA and retired as a pipeline gauger for Calumet Oil after 40 years of service. He was a wonderful gardener, football player, fisherman and duck hunter. He was a wonderful husband, daddy and PawPaw.
Mr. Bourne was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lillie Mae Bourne, brothers, Cecil Bourne and Thomas Allen Bourne and grandson, Doug Green. Those left to cherish his memories are his children; Valerie Perdue and husband, Joe of Longview, TX, Serina Green and husband, Lee of Trees City, LA, Kaye Carver and husband, Tim of Bivins, TX, Maye Moore and husband, Scott of Trees City, LA, Twyla Davis and husband, Tim of Bivins, TX and Barry Bourne of Marshall, TX; sister, Gwendolyn Comer of Gray, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dub, Andrea, Jarrod, Brittany, Sara, Robby, Christen, Cody, Haden, Taylor, Carlin, Bryson, Autumn and Madalynn; 24 great grandchildren; special friend, Bobby Joe Comer and a host of other relatives and friends.
Honoring Mr. Bourne as pallbearers will his grandsons, Robby Carver, Doug Perdue, Cody Moore, Hayden Moore, Bryson Bourne, and Carlin Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jarrod and Douglas Green.
