Dr. Chester Rockwell Pratt was the tenth of eleven children born to David and Hannah (Rockwell) Pratt Dec. 6, 1806 in Canton, Bradford Co. Pennsylvania. He died May 1, 1852 in Fennimore, Grant County, Wisconsin at his home.
Chester Pratt married Nancy Martha Roberts in 1826, together they had 12 children. Willard, Cynthia, Jesse , Lovina, Lucretia, Mary, Chester, Nancy, Lucinda, Louisa, David and John.
