Ruth Arnold
Ruth Arnold, 89, Middleport, died Thursday, June 26, 1997 at the Overbrook Nursing Center in Middleport.
She was born on March 1, 1908 in Addison, daughter of the late Asa and Laura Powell Bradbury. She graduated from Middleport High School in 1926, attended the Middleport Presbyterian Church and was a member of the former Middleport Garden Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Arnold of Middleport; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Gloria Arnold of Cincinnati; two granddaughters; a great-grandson and three step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold, in 1980; a brother, Cecil Bradbury; and by a sister, Esther Greer.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cheshire, with the Rev. Krisana Robinson officiating. No visitation will be observed. Arrangements are by the Middleport Chapel of the Fisher Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ruth Arnold Memorial Fund, 625 Chestnut St., Middleport, Ohio 45760, or to the Middleport Presbyterian Church, 165 N. Fourth St., Middleport, Ohio 45760.
