Obituary- Andrew H. Hershner
Andrew H. Hershner, son of Andrew and Mary Pierce Hershner, was born at Galion, Ohio, January 13, 1854. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lee Stephenson, in Mound City, September 19, 1937, age 83 years, 8 months and 6 days.

About nine years ago he and his wife retired from the farm and located in Mound City.
Forty-three years ago Mr. Hershner united with the Evangelical church and became an interested worker in church affairs.
His quite humble life won respect from all who knew him, and his influence was a help to the home and the community.
His departure leaves in mourning the two daughters, Mrs. Frank Buntz and Mrs. Lee Stephenson both of Mound City; one son Ed Hershner, of Mound City, and one sister, Mrs. Robert Blair of Rosendale, and one grandson, Robert S. Stephenson, who had been a joy in the life of the departed.
