Funeral services for Victor Woolever, 17, who died at his home in Clarendon, Ark., last Saturday evening at 6:30 after an illness of several weeks due to typhoid fever, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in Clements Chapel. Noel T. Adams, minister of the First Christian Church in this city, will be the officiating minister. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.
Victor left here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Woolever, two years ago for their home in Arkansas. He attended high school here while he lived here and was a member of the high school football team. He was a member of the Christian church.
Victor is survived by his parents, one sister, Mildred, and one brother, William, both of Clarendon, Ark.; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. U.A. Woolever of Burlington, his grandmother, Mrs. Linnie Peckham of Clarendon, Ark., his grandfather, William Peckham of this city; two uncles, Lawrence Peckhan of this city and Leonard Peckham of St. Louis, Mo., and two aunts, Mrs. B.F. Consbrock and Mrs. E.L. Nordblad. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth, who died at the age of 14 months, and Edith, who died September 21, last, from typhoid fever.
Victor is the second member of his family to die within the past three weeks from typhoid fever and his father, W.T. Woolever is still seriously ill with the same disease.
