Scott "Poppie" Delahoussaye was born on November 23, 1958 and left us suddenly on August 3, 2010, at his home in Lancaster, California. He is now with his beloved wife Brenda who preceded him in 1994. "Poppie" loved spending time with his family and friends, watching sports, going to concerts, fishing, and good food. He also loved being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews. His greatest joy was being a Poppie to his daughter, and a grandpoppie to his two granddaughters. Scott is survived by his daughter Jacey Delahoussaye-Wiesbrock, granddaughter Brynn and Keagan Wiesbrock, mother Gail Carter, his dad Jerry Delahoussaye, brother Brent Carter, and his sisters Cathy Wade and Debbie Mathis. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Halley-Olsen Mortuary in Palmdale.
He is also survived by paternal half-brother John Petty of Anza.
