Aloysia ''Sissie'' Nee Facenda, 83, of the 4800 block of High St. West, died Oct. 17, 1999, in her home.
Mrs. Facenda, a native of Portsmouth, was the widow of Joseph A. Facenda Sr. and daughter of the late Bartley T. and Margaret O'Sullivan Nee.
She was retired owner and operator with her husband of The Colonial Shoppe for 48 years.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Maryview Hospital Auxiliary.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Revs. Joseph S. Slowik and Thomas B. Nee. Burial will follow in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church Restoration Fund, 518 High St., Portsmouth, VA 23704.
