Granddaddy was kind and loving and adored by my grandmother, his children and grandchildren. He took care of many of his nieces and nephews when their families were not able to do so. When I was a young child I was given clothes my older cousins had outgrown. Granddaddy always made sure other little girls always got some of these clothes. When I asked my mother why he did this she said he would give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it. Miss you always, Granddaddy.
