Michelle Eldridge

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints West Stake in Eugene for Michelle Hood Eldridge of Eugene, who died Nov. 4 at age 46. The family chose not to list the cause of death.

She was born Oct. 14, 1964, in Riverside, Calif., to Richard and Eva MacNaughton Hood. She married Michael Eldridge on Jan. 24, 1995, in Salt Lake City.

She held a bachelor of science from Utah State and a master's degree from Westminster College. She owned and operated Lucia Skincare in Eugene for four years. Before that, she worked for the University of Oregon in the College of Architecture and, before moving to Oregon, she worked for the Utah Arts Festival.

Survivors include her husband; her father; and a sister, Marcia Wilson of St. George, Utah.

Inurnment will be Jan. 20 at Holladay Memorial Park in Utah. Arrangements by Sunset Hills Cemetery, Funeral Home and Crematorium in Eugene. Remembrances to FOOD for Lane County.
