Funeral services for Nelson R. Beazley, Jr., 37, of Lake Shore drive, Route No. 3, will be held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of the Rose-Neath funeral home with the Rev. C. N. Hughes, pastor of the Waterproof, La., Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Beazley, a former Shreveport taxicab driver, died at his home Tuesday night after a long period of illness. Surviving are his widow: two sons, Robert N. Beazley and James R. Beazley, and his father, Nelson R. Beazley, Sr. All are of Shreveport.

Nelson was first married to Idell Cupp of Winn Parish. They had one son Nelson Rencher Beazley in 1922. They were divorced by 1930. Idell and their son lived in California after the divorce. She re-married.
At the time of his death he was married to the former Pauline Warner. Pauline and Nelson are shown in the directories for Shreveport from 1932-1935. The 1940 census lists Pauline as a widow living with her mother Marie and step father Earl Kiene and her two sons Robert and James in New Mexico. Pauline re-married in August of the same year to Elzy Campbell.
There is no marker for Nelson R. Beazley Jr. The two photos on his memorial are of his father and grandfather. He is buried in an unmarked grave between them.
