Earl Wilton Gilman, of the US Navy, was "Killed in Action" on 12 Nov 1942. He was interred in the Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen, New Mexico.

In 1939, Earl was serving aboard the Lexington-class Aircraft Carrier USS Saratoga (Navy musters). It's undetermined if he was still serving the same ship at the time of his passing.
