Lockwood - Clara Kluhsman, 80, Lockwood, died at 4:55 a.m. Tuesday at a local nursing home after a short illness.
Mrs. Kluhsman was born Feb. 10, 1908, in Dade County. A homemaker, she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta, Kan.
She married Aug. 5, 1927, at Meinert to William Fredrick Kluhsman. He died in 1980.
Survivors include two daughters June Culver, Ozark, Ark., and Hazel Taylor, Augusta, Kan.; three sisters Anna Kiefer, Lockwood; Vernetta Beerly, Carthage, and Lydia Greenfield, Emporia, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lockwood. The Rev. Darrel Hoerly will officiate, with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Meinert. Arrangements are under direct of the Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
The family will receive friends at 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dade County Memorial Hospital.
