Davenport - Services for Nancy S. Greenwood, a resident of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Nancy died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at her daughter's residence in Davenport surrounded by her family. She had fought a very courageous and brave battle with lung cancer.

She had been employed 15 years by Genesis Medical Center-West Campus in the admissions department. Before that, she had been the sales office supervisor at Sears Manufacturing, Davenport.

Nancy Sue Rollston was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Davenport, the daughter of Martin Thomas and Sylvia Arlene (Franklin) Rollston. She married Gerald "Jerry" Britt. She then married Michael M. Greenwood on July 9, 1977, in Davenport. He survives her.

Nancy attended the former Immaculate Conception Academy and was part of the first graduating class of Assumption High School. She was a member of the church and the Spirit Committee at Genesis Medical Center. Nancy enjoyed life and lived life to the fullest. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed riverboat gambling. Memorials may be made to Genesis VNA Hospice.

Survivors include her husband, Michael "Mike" Greenwood, Davenport; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Tim Rohm, Debbie and Greg Martin and Cheri and Dave Cabana, all of Davenport; a stepdaughter and spouse, Kim and D.L. Crandall, Kent, Minn.; a stepson and spouse, Scott and Crissy Greenwood, stationed with the U.S. Air Force, Geilenkirschen, Germany; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson; her parents, Martin "Bud" and Sylvia Arlene Rollston, Davenport; and a sister and brother-in-law, Cindee and Mike Tebrake, Davenport.
