Daughter of the late Marion Maxwell and Bertha Mayhue Pritchard Morris, she was the widow of David Levi Flowers. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Green, and by two brothers, Edmond Morris and Frank Morris. She was survived by her daughters, Doris Lowery and Linda Schachtschneider (Steve); grandchildren, Russell Lowery (Casey), Jessica Madel, Tammy "Bo" Hilliard (Bill) and Michael Baldwin (fiancee, Anita); a brother, Earl Morris; sisters, Edith White, Gladys Brewer and Frances West; great-grandchildren, Dylan Hilliard, Logan Hilliard, Baylon Lowery and Kaylie Lowery; and an extended family of relatives and friends. She was a member of Glenwood Independent Baptist Church in Marion, NC. Her funeral was held on November 17, 2010, with The Rev. Larry Gentry officiating.
