CARLISLE -- William F. Cunningham, 73, of 1418-E Bradley Drive, North Middleton Twp., died Monday in Carlisle Hospital.

He retired from Colt Plumbing and Heating, Mechanicsburg; was a former manager of Carlisle Plumbing and Heating; a member and Melvin Jones Fellow of the Carlisle Lions Club; and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, its Ushers Association and Stephens Ministry, the Samaritan Fellowship, North Middleton Senior Citizens Association and Carlisle High School Band Boosters.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis W. Sampsell Cunningham; four sons, Dennis E. of Carlisle, Darryl W. of York, David B. of Boiling Springs and Derek W. of Smyrna, Tenn.; two daughters, Deborah R. Judd and Donna S. Myers, both of Carlisle; two sisters, Loleta Potter of Boonsboro, Md., and Shirley Moser of Hagerstown, Md.; a brother, Roger L. of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Twp.

Viewing will be from 7 to 9 tonight in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home and 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday in the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the bell choir of his church, 45 S. West St., Carlisle 17013; Habitat for Humanity, 1208 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle 17013; Samaritan Fellowship of Carlisle, 99 Mooreland Ave., Carlisle 17013; or Carlisle Lions Club, c/o John H. Griffith, treasurer, 43 E St., Carlisle 17013.
