In Memoriam. Mrs. Mary G. Wallis, widow of the late Francis Adolphus Wallis, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Jarman, near Millington. Kent County, on Friday last. May 11. at 8:40 a, m., aged sixty four years.

The deceased was the daughter of Capt. George Hayward Willson and Henrietta Eleanor Brooke, and a lineal descendant of Robert Brooke, who was "ye first that did seat the Patuxent," of Leonard Calvert, the first colonial governor of the Province, of Clement Hill, who came to Maryland in 1662 with Charles II Lord Baltimore; of Richard Smith, the Surveyor General; and of Richard Bennett, the prominent colonial governor of Virginia.

Mrs. Wallis was one of a large family', and is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Wm. E, Hamilton, of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Elizabeth Hill Camp and Messrs. James Brooke and Wm. E Willson, of Rock Hall; Mr. Francis T. Willson, of Caroline County; Mr. George Hayward Willson, of San Francisco, Cal,, and Mr. Frederick De- Sales Willson, of Christobel, Panama.

The children of the deceased are Mrs. John N. and Mrs. J. Percy Wilson, of Landover; Mrs. T. Reverdy Sasscer, of North Keys; Mrs. Howard E. Perry, of Queenstown; Mrs. Charles H. Jarman, of Millington; Misses Nannie and Neale Wallis, of Landover; Messrs. Francis A. Wallis, of Philadelphia. Pa ; Henry Hill Wallis, of Richmond, Va.; and Thomas Smythe and John C. Wallis, of Kansas City, Missouri. There are also eighteen surviving grandchildren.

The funeral look place on Sunday at 11:30 am at St. John's Church, Rock Hall. The services were conducted by Rev. Father J. J. McKenna, who spoke beautifully of the many good traits which were characteristic of Mrs. Wallis.

The edifice was crowded by those who desired to pay the last tribute of respect to their departed relative or friend.

The pall bearers were Messrs. Notley O. Willson, Paul A. Willson, Richard Bennett Willson and George Beck. The funeral arrangements were in charge of Undertaker John N. Dodd and interment was made in the family lot in St. John's Cemetery.
