Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Peterson, 79, who died early Monday at the home of her son, Dr. Leo W. Peterson of Sun Prairie, where she had lived since 1949, will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Tuschen Funeral Home and at 9:30 in Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. G. A. Haeusler will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Peterson lived at Granton before coming to live with her son, following the death of her husband, Oscar, in 1949. Surviving are two other sons; Dr. E. A. Peterson of Salt Lake City, UT and Vernon of Dane; a daughter, Mrs. James Nelson of Fond du Lac; 8 grandchildren; and a half-brother, Alphonse Burkhardt of Thorp. WSJ 10/7/1952
