Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late J. D. and L. E. Callaham McAlister. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pelzer Church of God. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and John Lockaby, of Pendleton; sisters, Ruth Moore and Betty Bannister, both of Williamston; brothers, Ronnie McAlister, of Williamston, and Bobby McAlister, of Pendleton; and grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Lockaby, both of Pendleton. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, in the funeral home chapel with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson. The family is at the home.
