Lou “The Toe” Groza

Hall of Fame Professional Football Player. For 21 years he was the Cleveland Browns kicker from 1946-67 helping them win 13 championships. Six times he was an all-pro. He never had a long term contract with the Browns, but signed 21 consecutive one year contracts. The Browns training facility is located on Lou Groza Blvd. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1974.
