Services for Chester Mau, 44, South Wayne farmer, will be at 2 today at the Monroe funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Kehle officiating and burial in La Due Cemetery at South Wayne. Mr Mau died Wednesday when overcome by the heat after helping his brother, Harry, thresh wheat on the latter's farm at South Wayne.

Mr. Mau was a lifelong resident of Lafayette county. He leaves his wife; a son, Lester; two daughters, Ethel and Marian, all at home; four brothers, Albert, William and Harry, South Wayne, and Herman, Gratiot; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Wolf and Mrs. Groves Appell, Warren, Ill., and Mrs. George Long, Monroe.
