Mrs. Margaret Huff, who was 88 years of age on the 23rd day of last February, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Wiggins, in Wills Point, Monday, May 21, at 4:15 p.m. The funeral service was held at the Cedar Grove Cemetery a few miles northwest of town, Tuesday afternoon, attended by a large concourse of people, many relatives and friends of the deceased, who lived in that community for many years, and was known and admired for her fine Christian character, her devotion to her family and the many virtues of true womanhood.
The deceased was the wife of A. D. Huff, prominent citizen who died in 1909. She is survived by the daughter mentioned, and other daughters as follows: Mrs. Walter Mathis, Mrs. Florence Leftwich and Mrs. Nannie Ellison, all of Wills Point and Mrs. Jennie Ellison of the Cedar Grove Community. A son by her first marriage also survives, Babe Sullivan of California who is well known here. Two children by her first marriage died a number of years ago, being Mrs. Henry Long and Tom Sullivan; also a son by her marriage, Arthur Huff, died several years ago.
Mrs. Huff was a member of the church, lived a consistent Christian life, which was an example worthy of emulation by all, and the paper joins vast number in extending sincere condolence to the bereaved.
