Perry A. Barr passed away at the Soldiers Home last night from a general break down due to old age. Mr. Barr was a private in Co. B, of the Fourth Iowa infantry and a private in Co. 6. 25th Iowa infantry. He served five and a half months. Mr. Barr was admitted to the home on November 14, 1912. He leaves a wife who resides at the home. The funeral will take place tomorrow and interment will be made at the home (sic) cemetery.
